The (GUI) or Graphical User Interface is the "look" and "feel" and functional links that make up your
web site. Careful planning is required to insure that all the parts work together in perfect sync.

10 or 12 total main links on any one site GUI. Often its best to keep the main categories to 5-7.
Don't put too much info into a web site. One example was a major realtor site. Every page had 64 links to choose from.
Compare how confusing that must be with this site. Awebstore uses 12 major links on the main layout with only 8 hotspots in the GUI.
Yet, using a one line
pull down menu, we list 48 pages of information found within this site. The key is not to put all
60 links on the same page for someone to choose from.
